In the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 the “Tramprennen” was organized for the charity organisation Viva con Agua de St.Pauli. Of course, adventures and fun are one of the main aspects of the “Tramprennen”, but by far not the only one. The race combines both: having a good time and raising the awareness of the one of the biggest problems we have on this planet: the lack of clean drinking water. Raising this attention is done e.g. with the help of newspaper- and radio-interviews, the official homepage or all kinds of spontaneous actions during the race. We try to draw people’s attention to the most valuable good there is in the world: WATER! The “Tramprennen” especially attracts young people and offers them the opportunity for personal initiative and social engagement and shows them how much fun this can be.
We truly believe that fun and social engagement can go hand in hand! We enjoy our summer holiday, but at the same time we’d like to support others with our actions and spur on the people to stop, think and join! Viva con Agua benefits 100% from the donations generated by all the “TeamSponsors” and “TeamOwners”.
