Wovon redet ihr hier?

Das Tramprennen ist ein jährlich im Sommer stattfindendes vom Hitchhiking Hub organisiertes Rennen per Anhalter quer durch Europa. Wir sind ein trampverrücktes Netzwerk, quer verteilt auf der ganzen Erde. Das Tramprennen dauert ca. 2 Wochen und ist in 6 Zwischenetappen aufgeteilt. Stück für Stück nähern sich alle teilnehmenden Teams (meist 2-3 Leute) dem finalen Endziel. Wir sind innerhalb der letzten 4 Jahre von 2 auf über 100 Tramper gewachsen und freuen uns jährlich über ein wachsendes Trampernetzwerk. Neben Spaß und zwei Wochen Asphalt unterstützen wir mit dem Tramprennen die NGO Viva con Agua und sammeln im Vorfeld des Rennens Spendengelder für deren WASH-Projekte – ca. 40 000 Euro in den vergangenen 3 Jahren.

    Every route is divided into 6 stages. The teams of the specific route meet again and again in different checkpoint cities, a bit like the Tour de France does it with cycling…

    …there is 1 day off to relax after every stage…Addiotionally there are two buffer days if you wanna stay longer than a day. It’s up to you and your route when to apply the buffer day.

    …In the previous years we slept on playgrounds, beaches, public parks, underground garages, hostels or farms. Usually we do not plan in advance and follow the rules of the coincidence ;)!…it’s up to you and your route! :)

    …The winner of a stage gets 20 points. The following teams receive: 17, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2,1. The team who collected the most points after 6 stages wins the race.

    We’re hitchhiking for Viva con Agua, a NGO from Germany. To co-finance their sanitation projects every participating team is asked to raise funds! Get your team sponsored and co-finance a WASH-Project India! :)

  • Jeder Cent zählt

    The sponsors donate 1,2,3 or even 4 Cent for every hitchhiked kilometer. The average distance from the starting point to the Surduc Lake is 2000km. So everyone can support, even with 0,5 Cent/km (0,5 Cent x 2000km = 10 Euro) :)
