Thought we had a direct lift to Drama. Turned out he‘s not going to Greece and it‘s a misunderstanding. Turns out he‘s willing to bring us to the border anyway. Thanks Angel

Sitting in the lift the the Bulgarian-Greek border! Although we choose to take a tiny mountain road we‘re very fast today and waiting less then 5 minutes for a car to stop usually. Not bad, Bulgaria!

We‘re having our first lift, Raymon a Dutch expat and his dog macho (who is now old and not a macho anymore). After walking the doggies and having coffee he will bring us to Dospat, a long detour for him, so we are super lucky with our first ride of the day!

Super extra freaky daily challenge for stage 4 (kindly brought to you by Route Medusa):
Make a bouquet of flowers and give it to one of your drivers as a gift. You are not allowed to buy it, so get creative: collect flowers from the side of the road, build flowers from beer cans, paper, plastic, whatsoever! You receive the point if you have photographic proof of giving the bouquet to the drivers.
(Maybe you can use our permanent markers for this task and take some nice pictures of the process for our Sponsor Edding ;)))
