We’re heading to Estonia!

It’s been 7 years since Tramprennen went to the Baltics last time. So it’s about time we’re heading off there again. This year our destination will be Majaka (Lemme) in Estonia.

Starting points and routes

This year, for the first time since 2019, there will be 4 routes with 2 starting locations – one in BERLIN and one in SCHONUNGEN in Lower Franconia (Unterfranken).
The two routes from Schonungen in rustic Lower Franconia visit Bohemian hilly landscapes before meeting up again in the south of Polanc. After a brisk crossing of Poland, you still have tme to explore Lithuania and Latvia before arriving at your destination in Majaka, Estonia.
The Berlin routes will quickly lead across Polish lakes to the Baltic States, where the two routes meet. Here, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia will be explored before the finish line in Majaka on the Baltic Sea.
On the way from Germany to Estonia, on all routes, there is a mixture of more or less large towns, villages, motorways, country roads, local exists and petrol stations on all routes.

We’re collecting donations for ROSA e.V.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve found a new partner organization for our donations in 2024: It’s ROSA e.V.! Founded in March 2021, ROSA e.V. is a non-profit organization committed to a political approach with an intersectional perspective on society, grounded in fundamental queer-feminist and anti-racist principles. ROSA’s mission:

• humanitarian aid through a feminist lens for individuals on the move who face gender-specific challenges

• offering a mobile contact point and creating safe spaces for women who are in transit or seeking refuge.

If you want to know more about ROSA e.V., then have a look at their website or check them out on Instagram.
